Cooperative Institute for Marine Resources Studies (CIMRS)

CIMRS​CIMRS is a cooperative effort between Oregon State University and NOAA, specifically the Alaska Fisheries Science Center, the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory, and the Northwest Fisheries Science Center. CIMRS current research themes include marine ecosystems and habitats, protection and restoration of marine resources, seafloor processes: earth-ocean interactions, marine acoustics, coastal mapping and monitoring, and coastal and marine natural infrastructure. Newport, Oregon is home to CMRS.
